Polyphot Postcard Selection

Bavarian Source of Real Photo Cards

I haven‘t heard of any other real photo postcard printers from Bavaria in business prior !914 yet. At least of any using the typical bigger "postcards by the mile" production plants. So, Polyphot well worth to be mentioned here.

Believe that the early Photograph. Gesellschaft mbH, Rosenheim, was mainly a contract printer. The publishing activities appear to have started with company name change and move to Munich.

As said before, I do not collect cards of most of on this web site listed companies seriously. Just keeping samples for possible research purposes found by chance in any "cheapo" boxes. That means in case of Polyphot that I have only a limited stock of cards at hand. Please consider that the postcards illustrated below may not represent the entire range of designs once produced by Polyphot from Munich. Thank you.
