Pre-1900 German Postcard Printers
Introduction
The listing is not meant to be complete. All firms listed (in alphabetical order) either were contract printers for customers abroad and/or publishers exporting own cards with imprints in diff. languages. Some big in topo cards others specialised in greeting/subject cards, few did both.
An asterisk (*) indicates that information on this firm was previously published in TPA.
Make sure to check also the TPA Articles Download section/the three sub categories. when searching for a particular business.
In case the issue in question is not in stock anymore, the data not found in download section, it could be made available to interested persons.
Names in red colour = link to own page / article available as pdf-file. The latter option still not fully up-to-date, however.
Another lists of companies active in post-1900 years found on next page. Not considered were names of "jobbers" (middlemen) working under own name, sometimes internationally, but had no own printing facilities. Some of them popular with collectors today.
